VIST US

FARROW & BALL

We particularly love ‘Vardo No. 288’ from Farrow & Ball, as it is such a vibrant yet incredibly versatile colour.

Vardo is so full of life and joy it seemed natural to name it after something renowned for its flamboyant colour.

This bright colour works particularly well with reds or dark greys. Dark Tones Primer & Undercoat.

SANDERSONS

Combining a captivating coral shade such as ‘Inkwood No. 86’ from Sanderson’s will bring a sophisticated, Mediterranean aesthetic into the home.

Coral is synonymous with spring and summer, combining it with a shade like Vardo No. 288 will give your room a multi-seasonal appeal.

SUMMER TREnD: YELLOW

Whichever shade you opt for, yellow always brings a feeling of optimism and life into the home.

For a more modern, contemporary scheme, we recommend coupling yellow with white along while uncluttering furnishings to allow lots of natural light.

PAINT & PAPER LIBRARY

Shades such as, ‘Gamboge’ by Paint & Paper Library offer a more vibrant pop of colour on a feature walls or ‘Scallion’ by Paint & Paper Library which is a lovely hue of yellow-green that makes you think of the first stirrings of spring.

Adding yellow can easily transform neutral or dark colour schemes in to lively and vibrant living spaces.

lITTLE GREENE

For a more classic and elegant look we love Little Greene’s Colours of England range. One shade we’re particularly fond of is ‘Dorchester Pink 213’ which unsurprisingly was first used in The Dorchester Hotel in the 1960s.

The hotel describes the use of this colour: “Lilac provides an unusually restful setting for this bedroom. The room is given a gay note by the harlequin effect of the bed drapes and valance.”

Whichever seasonal colour’s you choose to bring into your home, Colour Centre Gloucester is your local stockist for designer paint and wall coverings.
